Call to Order

  1.   Roll Call- Board Members present:

  3.  Approval of minutes from last board meeting
  4. Items:
  • Review SIAP and  LIAP progress
  • Action to approve the following fingerprint requirement rule: 
    • A contractor, subcontractor or vendor, or any employee of a contractor, subcontractor or vendor, who is contracted to provide services on a regular basis at an individual school shall obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card pursuant to A.R.S. §41-1758 et seq. The Superintendent or designee may exempt from the requirement to obtain a fingerprint clearance card a contractor, subcontractor, or vendor whom the Superintendent or designee has determined is not likely to have independent access or unsupervised contact with students as part of their normal job duties while performing services to the school or to the school district. 
  • Action to Approve Parental Notification as written:
    • In accordance with A.R.S. § 15-186.01, if the School determines a student has been harassed, threatened, or intimidated on School grounds or in a manner that substantially disrupts the School’s learning environment, the School’s Leadership Team or their designee, will notify the parent or guardian of that affected student. Threatening or intimidating behavior and harassment have the meanings set forth in A.R.S. § 15-186.01. 
  • Action to Approve Reporting Suspected Criminal Conduct as written:
    • In order to comply with A.R.S. § 15-153, the School’s Leadership Team or a designee, will report to local law enforcement any suspected crime against a person or property that (i) is a Serious Offense or involves a Deadly Weapon or Dangerous Instrument or Serious Physical Injury; or (ii) any conduct that poses a threat of death or Serious Physical Injury to a School employee, student, or other person on the School’s property (collectively, “Suspected Criminal Conduct”). All capitalized terms in this paragraph have the meaning set forth in Arizona law. 
  • Action to approve the following Released Time For Religious Instruction as written:
    • The School shall excuse students for religious purposes, including participation in religious exercises or religious instruction. A guardian of the student must give their written consent to the absence and any religious instruction or exercise must take place at a suitable place away from School property. * A.R.S. 15-806)
  • Action to approve the Teacher and principal Evaluation System.
